A word of advice for anyone who wants to go to Germany for the PG – don’t take your language lessons for granted. Your language proficiency will be the single most important thing when it comes to integration and finding employment in your choice of workplace. Focus on it, find don’t limit it to just book learning. Find online resources, there is an abundance of those – films books, YouTube channels, anything to get you better acquainted with it. Without good command over the language, things will be very difficult once you reach there.

My reasons for choosing Germany/Niche International as below:G • 1. I had done lot of research on PG options like USA/UK etc. and finally chose Germany due to its high quality of training, world class healthcare system, high possibility of obtaining choice of branch and good visa success rates. in fact, Niche International has 100% success rates. • 2. Hello to all those guys who are reading this! I am Dr. Praveen from Tamil Nadu, India. Like every other MBBS graduate, I too had the same question on my mind after I completed my internship, What’s next?. That’s when I was planning to do my post-graduation residency in Germany. 1. A brief about your education/profession/location/ I am an Orthopedic Surgeon from Pune India. I have worked as an Orthopedic Surgeon in Pune, India for around 4 years.

2. Reasons for choosing Germany for SPECIALIST training. As I always wanted to settle abroad and being back in India as an Orthopedic Specialist, I didn't want to switch my specialty. Other options for me were England and Australia. But they had their own pitfalls. The German healthcare system is one of the best and also might offer me a specialist training program in Orthopedics.

3. Your German language learning experience. The German language gets complicated as the level increases, but you can really do it with proper training from an experienced Teacher. Though initially, I had the fear of getting up to B2 language, especially when it came to Speaking. But my teacher made me Practice the language and I passed the B2 Goethe exam in a go. Later the C1 classes with Frau Hoerig offered by FibMed are from one of the best teachers you can have for the German Language.

Indian who grew up in Kuwait. I graduated from PSG IMSR, Coimbatore in 2020. I chose Germany because it is known to have a world-class healthcare system which means that one will have the opportunity of training in modern infrastructure with advanced equipment. Also, there are no tuition fees in Germany, which means the cost of education is next to zero. I believe the training will equip me with high-quality experience and knowledge. I decided to go ahead with Germany when I was in my third year of MBBS. I also knew that language was the most important aspect of doing PG in Germany, apart from the knowledge obviously. I did A1 and A2 from Goethe Institute in Coimbatore. After internship, I did B1 and B2 as an online course. Initially, it was difficult and I expected it to be. But with practice, I got the hang of it. So, it all comes down to how often you practice. I found Grammar a bit difficult. But as I mentioned earlier, it gets easier with practice. It’s something you practice every day and not something you can learn in a day. One should comfortable with the language. I would suggest watching shows or movies, listening to DW/Podcasts in German, get used to listening in German. Of course, one cannot understand all the words, but it’s getting used to how sentences are framed. My experience, so far, with Niche/FiB is amazing. They have a well-structured program and knew exactly what they were doing.

Hello dearest Readers, I am Raj Kanchwala, a MBBS graduate from Delhi NCR. After graduation, I saw everyone in the wild Race to clear the NEET exams. I had given myself some time to think over the direction for my further education. I am Dr Mandar Khopkar and am a resident of Mumbai, Maharashtra. I have completed my MBBS from the Russian Federation and have also qualified the Foreign medical graduate entrance examination in India. I had always wanted to go abroad for my post-graduate studies and Germany seemed a very viable option for the same. I did my language training till B2 in Goethe, Mumbai.

The initial German language levels were not a challenge for me, having learned Russian in the past. But the last two levels are where a higher skill set is required. Overall, the language learning experience can only be rewarding if one thoroughly enjoys the learning process and is not just learning for the sake of getting placed somewhere in Germany. I would suggest private coaching over the Goethe structured levels, as one can directly clear B2 in a shorter span of time through private coaching; while the Goethe levels, though exhaustive and engaging are just too time-consuming.

The visa experience in Mumbai was a test of patience in my case. I was given a wide window of 0 to 12 weeks post my Visa interview to wait for the approval and it finally came through after 12 weeks. The application procedure is in itself nightmarish as the date of appointment of visa interviews are hard to come by. Unfortunately, there is no way around this yet. However, I later realized that the delay in my case was due to the high number of applications during the time and it has normalized since with my friend getting his visa under 2 weeks.

All in all, the help provided by Mr Ashok was invaluable and he was always available on the phone for numerous queries and doubts. He helped me through the visa application procedures and kept me abreast of the new developments on the front of post-graduation in Germany. When I considered going abroad for PG, I came in contact with Mr. Ashok, who gave me an overview of the procedure that one needs to go through in order to acquire the medical license. I’m an M.B.B.S doctor from Mumbai, India. I did my medical studies in China and later passed the FMGE examination and obtained registration in the Medical Council of India.

I completed B2 level in the German language in 7 months at a private institute near Mumbai and appeared for the Goethe exams as an External candidate. It’s important to maintain continuity in lessons. If one takes a break from learning any language half-way, it could disrupt the ability to grasp the language, which will eventually lead to wastage of time.

Hello. I am Dr. Mohammed Faiz Shaikh, from Aurangabad, Maharashtra and I completed my MBBS from Pravara Medical College, Loni, Maharashtra.

I decided on doing my PG training in Germany because it offers a really effective, efficient and practical oriented PG training program and also one of the few countries that allow a foreigner to get a surgical residency. Also, there is no fee and one earns handsomely when training, so it was perfect for me.

Learning the German language never felt like a very difficult task as I had imagined. One requires practice – Read, speak and watch movies and shows.

With proper guidance and a bit of hard work, one can easily get a good grip on the language.

But the first ticket to fulfill these dreams is the Language! Learning a foreign Language was definitely a big task. Honestly, when I started I didn’t know how far I could learn the language, but my will to pursue my studies for PG in Germany motivated me to learn the German language. And in a few classes, I realized that it’s a very interesting language and if trained well it’s not difficult to get well versed with. From October 2017 I did my initial two levels (A1 and A2) in Qatar Inlingua and after a small break, I moved to New Delhi and from February 2018 did an intensive Language training (B1 and B2) in Private Institute. On July 4, 2018, I cleared my B2 exam successfully.

During my language training for PG in Germany. I came to know about FibNicheMed via the internet and their dedicated Pathway Program for foreign doctors interested to do Specialist training in Germany. I called up the Director, Mr. K.P Ashok at their Indian center in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He briefed me about the entire course and it met all the requirements that I was looking for and it suited me completely.

I was enrolled into the Program after successful initial screening and my profile assessment through Skype. I had a good session with the Director of FibNicheMed and she too gave a complete outlook over the course.

The best part of FibNicheMed is that they guide you from the very first day of enrollment. Every week I used to receive lessons both based on language as well as Medicine related. This way I was aware of what I will be getting in to and of course that motivated me to perform better. Our feedbacks were also assessed timely. I also had monthly Skype sessions with Frau Becker. These sessions were very helpful because we discussed Medical topics which we had to prepare before every session. This way I could also improve my language proficiency. We are also given links to books and websites in order to boost Medical language training.

The next hurdle after the Language training is the Visa process and DefizitBescheid. Since I applied for Visa from Qatar the process was a bit different but Fib Med helped me throughout especially in obtaining DefizitBescheid. They provided us with a detailed explanation of every step to obtain the visa and Defizitbescheid. The meticulous process seemed very simple under their guidance and without any hindrance, I obtained my Visa and am traveling to Germany on the 6th of Dec. 2018.

It’s time to move to Germany and gear up for the last phase. I am planning to opt for Obstetrics and Gynecology specialist in Germany and confident that FibNicheMed program will equip me with all skills and knowledge to achieve my dream.

I am Dr. Neha H. from New Delhi, India. I completed my MBBS from Mangalore, Karnataka in September 2016. During my college days, I was always intrigued by how outcome-based research has evolved over the years and changed the way we doctors can impact the lives of patients positively. I had then and there decided to pursue this aspect of Medical Specialization parallel to my clinical medical practice.

So when I started exploring options, on options to do post-graduation, Germany came up at the top of the list! The cutting-edge technology and Research in Patient Care could definitely help me in achieving my life goals.

It was then that I read about Fib Med on the internet and about their Pathway program (PGMP) for foreign doctors aspiring to undertake SPECIALIST/PG Training in Germany. I decided to give a call to their Director, Mr. K.P. Ashok at their Indian center in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He explained the full program in detail for PG in Germany and various Medical Specializations and finally, I was admitted into the Pathway program (PGMP) after successfully clearing the Initial Screening and my profile assessment over Skype.

And so I started learning German on 28th November 2017, at a private language institute in New Delhi. To be very honest, in the beginning, I had lots of self-doubts on whether I will be able to master the language to a level expected of doctors in Germany. But to my pleasant surprise, the language was not so difficult after all. The Grammar was really interesting and the more I practiced speaking, the more confident I became. A very important part in my being able to speak German fluently goes to Frau Becker (Medical Terminology teacher of Fib_med), with whom I Skype every month. Her constant encouragement and practice lessons not only abled me to grasp the language along with Medical Terminology. On May 5th, 2018, I gave my B2 exam and successfully cleared it!

And then started the Visa process and like all doctors, I was also told that I would require the Defizitbescheid to be able to attain 17A, professional Training Visa. I consider myself lucky to be enrolled in Fib_Med because Mr. Ashok and the Fib_Med team in Bonn guided me through all the steps of PG in Germany.I was given a checklist of documents and detailed instructions on filling up the application forms, which were then verified for errors by Frau Machmueller (FiB-Med course coordinator). Thanks to this meticulous planning and execution, I received my Defizitbeschied within 6 days of application. And then, I applied for the Visa with full assistance and was also given multiple mock interview sessions by Mr. Ashok and Frau Petereit (Director, Fib_med) which helped me tackle all questions thrown at me at the visa interview with poise and confidence and my visa arrived within a few weeks of application. Also, note that I completed a C1 course during the waiting period of B2 results to Visa issuance and also completed many lessons and assignments on the Approbation exam subjects provided to me. I arrived in Bonn on the 2nd of November and my accommodation was reserved by FiB well in advance.

Many of my friends have also enrolled with Fib_med based on my experience. My only advice would be to keep working hard and have a never give up attitude until you achieve your dreams of successfully attaining PG in Germany.

Dr. Neha will now undergo further preparation on FSP, will attend numerous workshops and seminars on the same conducted by German Medical Specialists, will complete a 30 day Internship in a hospital before she attempts the FSP(Exam). Further, she will undergo intensive preparation for Approbation (exam). She is expected to obtain a PG position in the next 8-10 months. WE wish her all the best.

I am Dr. Shon from Kerala State. I have completed my MBBS in Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) in Kochi, Kerala. Going to Germany for higher studies and job was my aspiration after passing MBBS.

Dr Sagar T (MBBS, MD) I am from Maharashtra and did my MBBS and MD from my state itself. At the moment, I am working as an Occupational Health Physician at Jamshedpur, Jharkhand State. My field of interest is Occupational health and I selected Germany for my further training due to its advancements and innovations in my field of interest. I have always been interested in pursuing a career in Surgey and wanted to do my training abroad due to complexities of the medical system in India. I completed my language training till B2 level through a private tutor

After clearing B2 I was doing research about various consulting agencies that could help me with my PG application process. When I came across FIB ,I was attracted to their course and the details provided on the website. As they had an office in Mumbai, I booked an appointment to meet with FIBs Indian counterparts who helped explain the process of attaining PG in Germany in a very systematic and detailed way. Once iregstered for the course,I received weekly lessons from Germay about various medical topics which helped me improve my medical language skills. I also had monthly skype session with a german teacher,wherby we discuss a predetermined video topic. This helped with my speaking skills.

My experience with the Defisitz and Visa was quite tiring, but this was due to the issues ,not relating to FIB. Since I studied medicine from china,I had to get various documents from China which was quite difficult and time consuming to do ,which slowed my application process. Getting a visa appointment is another hassle since appointment slots are few in number and I found myself waiting for 2 to 3 months just to book an appointment. But through this all,Fib guided me through all the steps which helped reduce the delay from my end

I plan to do specialization in Surgery.
